tins decorate the walls. A beautiful quilt dating from the 1700's has been
framed in sections
and graces the dining room wall.
The restful, country atmosphere makes Water Valley the perfect spot for a
romantic weekend, family outings, nature lovers, fishermen or groups who want
quiet setting for brainstorming or simply relaxing and regrouping. Writers,
artists, photographers and corporate groups are invited to consider our facilities
your next creative retreat. Cyclists and equestrian travelers will find our
location, just off the historic Natchez Trace, a wonderful stopping place for
a good meal and a relaxing day and night in scenic Maury County, Tennessee.
Originally the two buildings were a farmhouse & a general store. The store
was built in the mid-1800’s and the farm house added around 1900.
Through the years the property has been lovingly restored by the owner, Emme
antiques from the her personal collection have been used to furnish
the building interiors. Her favored style
is country primitive and her goal is to make Water Valley B&B a place where
guests will immediately feel relaxed and at home.
Emme’s talent in the kitchen will not go unnoticed by her guests.
One of her most requested sweet treats is her special butterscotch
boarding is available on the premises. There are also electrical and
city water hook-ups for one RV or horse trailer available. (No holding
